incuto named amongst top 50 most disruptive businesses in UK

We’re delighted to announce that incuto has made the Disruption50 Index, which highlights and celebrates those businesses innovating and leading the way in a rapidly changing world. Selected on the basis of our ‘Fintech for good’ solution which enables credit unions and community-based banks and lenders to extend and enhance the services they offer their Members, the final 50 winners were selected by both a panel of judges and intelligent AI technology.

incuto has been selected on a number of criteria including how it’s technology removes friction for the customer, growth in users and brand equity, how incuto is changing customer behaviour and our own internal culture of innovation and adaptation. Innovation is at the heart of what we do at incuto, so our submission highlighted product development and methodologies, alongside our overriding mission to work alongside clients in battling the poverty premium in financial services.

Our CEO Andrew Rabbitt says: “We’re thrilled to be part of the UK’s top 50 most disruptive companies. As a “Fintech for good” working with credit unions and community-focused banks to eradicate the Poverty Premium in financial services, we believe highlighting disruptive technologies which can change the status quo and address social challenges has never been more important.

”This recognition is a reflection of the creativity and hard work of our entire team. As we continue to add many more credit unions and community-focused banks and lenders to our platform, it is our ambition that ethical banking services will become available to even more customers – it’s time we countered the consequences and effects of short-term, high-cost credit with lower-interest options and financial education,” he continues.

Entries for the Disruption50 Index were accepted from across all industry sectors and company sizes, from established companies, to new startups and scale-ups working at the forefront of new technologies while creating new markets and opportunities. The final list of companies within the index will be officially announced at the Disruption Summit Europe on 10 September 2019 in London.
